Your mission as an Automation Brand Sales Specialist will be to drive end-to-end sales execution across the entire Automation portfolio with a focus on winning the platform. You serve as the customer's strategic advisor to translate their requirements into the right technology architecture, in the context of use cases and critical technology decision points, driving revenue growth.
Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Brand Sales Specialist you'll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM’s leading solutions will solve their problems while delivering value to their business. Your primary responsibilities include Client Management and Value Definition, effectively managing client relationships, defining IBM's value proposition, and engaging key decision-makers; and Sales Process Management and Collaboration, overseeing the entire sales process with a focus on expanding new business opportunities and collaborating closely with various IBM teams.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
* Automation Platform Solutions Knowledge: Experience with a range of Automation Platform solutions, including Cloud Pak for Applications, DevOps, and WebSphere Application Server, with the ability to identify and create new sales opportunities.
* Technical Product Knowledge: Exposure to products such as Cloud Pak for Integration, DataPower, and WebSphere Service Registry/Repository, with an understanding of how they can be leveraged to meet client needs.
* Sales Cycle Management: Experience progressing opportunities through the sales cycle, building relationships with clients, and driving sales efforts to ensure timely closure of deals.
* Industry Trend Awareness: Familiarity with industry trends and competitor activity, with the ability to stay up-to-date and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
* Solution Delivery Collaboration: Experience working with internal teams to deliver Automation Platform solutions that meet client needs, with an understanding of how to leverage product knowledge to drive solution delivery.
