Overview
Reflection Manager at Haberdashers’ Abraham Darby is responsible for coordinating and supervising the Reflection Room and managing the learning of the pupils in the room. The role requires supporting pupils to be the best they can be, addressing matters that arise with skill, and promoting positive behaviour, attitudes, standards and engagement. The post involves building and maintaining positive relationships with parents and the wider community, and maintaining excellent records of interventions to support the graduated approach to pastoral care. The successful candidate will model good pupil conduct, dress code and professionalism, be supportive of the academy culture, and help remove barriers to enable pupils to meet classroom demands.

Responsibilities
* Coordinate and supervise the Reflection Room and manage pupil learning within the room.
* Address matters that arise with skilful and prompt intervention, including behaviour, attitudes, standards and engagement.
* Engage with parents to build and maintain positive relationships with the community and maintain records of intervention.
* Support the graduated approach to pastoral care and model good pupil conduct, dress code and professionalism.
* Collaborate with the pastoral team under the supervision of the Senior Vice Principal.
Contract and Salary
Permanent role. Hours: 37.5 hours per week (08:00 – 16:00), term time plus 1 week. Current salary range: £26,016 – £27,323 per annum (Grade 5, Pt 9 – Grade 6, Pt 11), starting point dependent upon experience and qualifications.

Start date: 1 October 2025 (or as soon as possible thereafter). Closing date: 3:00 pm on Friday 26 September 2025.
