Permanent position Salary Grades : Teaching Assistant and After School Club Leader- Staffordshire Scale Grade 4 (points 6 - 7) Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Staffordshire Scale Grade 7 (points 15 - 22) Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm. 35 hours per week, term time only, 39 weeks a year. Pay: To avoid any confusion on interview day, it is important schools let applicants know what the actual pro-rata salary will be - not the full time equivalent salary. Daily routine of the successful candidate: 8.30am – Preparation time for HLTA tasks. 8.45am – Reception TA role starts, (a passion for early years education is vital). 12.05pm – Lunchtime 1pm – Covering teacher release time across all classes from Reception to Year 5/6, (possibility of also leading Forest School, one afternoon a week). 3.25pm – Hometime 3.30pm – Lead the after-school club (play and stay, Headteacher will be on hand to support if necessary) 4.25pm - Children go home 4.30pm - End of working day Visits to the school to meet the headteacher, children and staff are strongly recommended, we would love to meet you!
