Role Summary
The business development manager is responsible for driving business growth. They will identify market opportunities through meetings and networking alongside engaging with potential and current clients to drive sales.
Role Responsibilities
• Establish, build and maintain relationships with a wide portfolio of existing and potential clients to fulfil the business needs through regular contact and account management.
• Building relationships with key decision makers.
• Actively seek new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
• Develop a network of relationships with construction companies.
• Maintain an excellent knowledge and understanding of the industry particularly soft landscaping, fencing and grounds maintenance.
• Attend networking events and other promotional opportunities while maintaining a professional and credible profile on behalf of the company.
• Maintain up to date and accurate records of specific development activity.
• Understanding of the competition in the industry.
• Gaining feedback from potential and existing clients to better understand our strengths and weaknesses.
• Showcasing the company through our social media platforms and website.
• Manage a pipeline of opportunities using CRM software, ensuring that all deadlines are met and the information presented meets the company standards.
• Health and safety: Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed to maintain safe working practices. Actively promote safe working practices.
• Anything else as requested by manager or senior management.
