About the role
We are supporting a leading, recognised brand within the e-fulfilment and logistics sector as they continue to grow their Finance team at their Harworth site.
This fast-paced operation manages the movement of customer-specific products across a dynamic warehouse environment.
We are now looking for a Management Accountant to join the business and play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function and monthly reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing Fixed Asset and Leasing accounting
* Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts
* Posting journals and investigating variances
* Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
* Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting
* Supporting external audits and group reporting requirements
* Driving continuous improvement across finance processes
* Mentoring and supporting junior Finance team members
* Producing ad hoc reports for senior management
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role, ideally within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector
* Strong month-end and reconciliation experience
* Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
* Confident communicator with the ability to investigate and explain variances
* Experience within logistics, warehousing or fast-paced environments is advantageous
* A proactive approach and desire to improve processes
