Facilities Project Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Facilities Project Engineer to join our team in Filton. In this role, you will take ownership of multiple medium to large-scale facilities projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders to provide best-value solutions, maintain compliance, and support our high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the end-to-end delivery of concurrent facilities projects, from planning to handover
* Collaborate with stakeholders to align project outcomes with business objectives
* Develop project scopes, cost estimates, and quotations
* Oversee the tendering process, contractor selection, and performance management
* Ensure regulatory compliance, including RAMS, CDM, and PTW procedures
* Manage and track project budgets effectively
* Coordinate the full project lifecycle, from customer requirements to completion
* Communicate proactively with stakeholders, ensuring clear updates and expectations
* Compile final project documentation, including ‘as-built’ drawings and records
* Adhere to internal policies, processes, and governance throughout project delivery
What You’ll Bring:
Essential:
* Proven experience in project management within a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Working knowledge of CDM regulations
* Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems/services
* Excellent planning and risk mitigation skills
* Commercial and contractual awareness
* Solid grasp of building infrastructure and facilities management
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Desirable:
* HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* IOSH or NEBOSH Health & Safety certification
