Responsibilities
The Counter Manager is responsible for achieving retail objectives in store. By leading your team by setting a positive example, you will maximize sales opportunities and ensure the team provides excellent customer service and shopping experiences.
Duties include:
* Management – Motivating staff, delegating roles, meeting sales targets, and maintaining high customer service standards.
* Sales Goals – Achieving counter and service sales targets through delegation, customer connections, product demonstrations, beauty/brow services, and booking repeat appointments.
* Brow Services – Performing waxing, tinting, and tweezing to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat bookings. (Full training provided to become a Brow Expert!).
* Teamwork – Conducting daily team meetings, effective communication, and recognizing positive work to motivate the team and achieve targets.
* Promotion and Events – Creating in-store and external events, including new product launches and charity events, to build business.
* Stock – Keeping the counter stocked and reporting concerns promptly.
* Communication – Maintaining open communication with store/department managers and area managers.
* Administration – Completing required administrative tasks regularly and assisting with area manager administration as needed.
* Staff Rotas – Preparing fair staff schedules monthly.
* Hygiene and Housekeeping – Keeping the counter and displays clean and hygienic at all times.
Qualifications
Counter Managers should be available to work weekends, late nights, and bank holidays alongside weekday shifts.
