HR Advisor
Fixed Term Contract – 9-12 months
Hybrid (3:2 split) – Choose between London Heathrow or Birmingham office
£45,000 – £50,000 per annum
Are you an experienced HR professional looking to make a real impact in a fast-paced environment? We’re partnering with a leading logistics business to recruit a proactive HR Advisor to join their HR team for a maternity cover.
The Role
As part of a close-knit team of four HR Advisors, you’ll take ownership of the Distribution portfolio, supporting a headcount of approximately 400 employees. You’ll be the go-to HR contact for managers, providing expert guidance on policies and handling a wide range of HR processes.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing high-volume Employee Relations cases, escalated from the People Services team
2. Advising line managers on HR policies and procedures
3. Ensuring consistent and compliant HR practices
4. Collaborating with colleagues to drive HR initiatives and support business goals.
What We’re Looking For
5. Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within logistics, distribution, or a similar fast-moving sector
6. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
7. Confident handling complex ER cases with Union involvement
8. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
We are ideally looking for someone to join the team in October.
