WPS are looking for a proactive and commercially astute Project Surveyor to join our team based out of our Wolverhampton office, supporting the delivery of planned works across our social housing contracts. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in managing projects end-to-end, working closely with operational teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions that make a real difference to communities.
Responsibilities
* Manage the commercial aspects of planned works projects from inception to completion.
* Work collaboratively with delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitably.
* Cost control, forecasting and reporting across multiple workstreams.
* Procure and manage subcontractors in line with company processes.
* Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
* Build strong working relationships with internal teams, clients and supply chain partners. Involved across a diverse range of planned works, including kitchens & bathrooms, roofing works, voids, communal electrics and Adaptations & Alterations.
Qualifications
You're looking for someone who is confident, collaborative and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Previous experience as a Project Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor within social housing planned works.
* Strong knowledge of commercial processes and cost management.
* Experience working across similar workstreams (kitchen & bathrooms, roofing, voids, etc.).
* Ability to build strong relationships with operational teams and stakeholders.
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
