Summary
We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with industry standards, contributing significantly to our mission of providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations and ensure contracts are delivered on time
* Manage and lead a team, fostering a positive work environment
* Coordinate with departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency
* Monitor performance and implement improvements as needed
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
* Provide training and support to team members, ensuring standards are met and maintained
* Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues effectively
* Monitor fleet, ensure vehicles and equipment are maintained to a high standard
* Prepare reports on operational performance for management review
Key Tasks
* Ensure staff are fully compliant and trained to the required standard
* Conduct site visits to monitor staff and complete Supervisory checks on all working practices ensuring standards are met.
* Review staff training, focus on key areas to develop your team.
* Have full understanding of RAMS, COSHH and technical data sheets.
* Implement systems to ensure your team have the correct equipment needed to perform their duties
* Control equipment / order stock / calibration checks / safety checks
* Resolve problems effectively
* Develop and manage effective communication with clients and staff
* Produce / update RAMS as required
* Constantly look for ways to improve department systems / methods of working
Experience Required
* Experience of managing planned and reactive works is essential
* 2 years Supervisory experience is preferred
* NEBOSH or IOSH qualification is preferred
* Flexibility to meet rapidly changing priorities and deadlines
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent communication, planning and time management skills
* Ability to maintain standards and reach KPI targets
* Embraces change, with a professional approach
* Experience training and monitoring staff
* Good communication and IT skills are required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
