Our client, a large independent Accident Repair Centre based in the Cheltenham region, is currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join their business.
Your responsibilities as a Paint Sprayer will include:
4. Fulfil all tasks to the customer’s complete satisfaction.
5. Complete the assigned jobs within the estimated paint times.
6. Safeguard the customer’s vehicle and its contents while in the Bodyshop.
7. Ensure that all vehicles comply with safety standards when returned to the customer.
8. Carry out repairs according to best practices and procedures.
9. Meet acceptable safety and quality standards.
10. Interpret and implement technical instruction data.
11. Use all paint mixing schemes and drying areas, and equipment accurately for all paint repairs.
12. Seek clarification from the Bodyshop Manager if a work order is not clear or seems to be incorrect.
To be eligible for this role; you will ideally be a fully qualified Vehicle Paint Sprayer to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. Alternatively, our client is willing to consider potential employees with strong time-served experience working as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer. You will need to hold a UK Driving Licence with minimal points, be a committed individual and be a good team player. You must be able to produce a high quality of workmanship in a busy working environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team. People that obtain an ATA accreditation would be prioritised, but it is not essential.
