Role
This firm is seeking an experienced and motivated Contentious Construction Solicitor to join as an Associate in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established practice specialising in complex and high-value construction and engineering disputes, with exposure to landmark projects and industry-leading experts.
You will advise and represent clients in various construction disputes, including adjudications, arbitrations, and litigation, with exposure to high-value matters involving UK and international clients across sectors like infrastructure, energy, and commercial development.
As an Associate, you will supervise junior team members, contribute to team development, and support client relationships.
You will work in a collaborative environment that values initiative, professional growth, and client engagement.
Your Experience
* 4+ years of relevant PQE in Contentious Construction
* Understanding of key industry issues
* Experience managing adjudications, arbitrations, and court proceedings
* Advising contractors, consultants, and employers in disputes
* Strong technical, drafting, and commercial skills
* Client-focused with excellent communication skills
