We have a rare opportunity to welcome you as a District Manager with our Folkestone Health Visiting team. In this role you will lead and support colleagues to deliver the healthy child programme, you will collate monthly data reports to support governance, provide analysis of team data, undertake specific audits and support the supervision of practitioners ensuring best practice is adhered to while supporting the ongoing development and service transformation, we are a research active service and passionate about public health. The role requires a strong focus on physical visibility in the team but with room to work remotely at times. You will be supported by a friendly team of experienced operational managers, so if this is your first managerial role, help will be on hand. What will the role involve? Responsible for the line management and development of district colleagues, ensuring that all have the appropriate competencies and up to date training to enable them to safely undertake their roles. Provide advice and guidance on and undertake a range of competent clinical and non-clinical interventions to support colleagues, the service and maintain clinical credibility. Work closely with the Family Partnership Programme Leads and Senior Practitioners to ensure that there is a continuous leadership presence within the district whilst retaining overall responsibility and accountability for performance. Lead, attend and contribute to team and service meetings.
