Job Title: Cook - NHS Golden Jubilee
Note: This position is exclusively open to current employees of NHS Golden Jubilee.
Job Overview
The primary responsibility of this role is the preparation and cooking of meals for patients and visitors, ensuring high-quality catering services are provided to all customers, departments, and business tenants within the hospital. The role requires strict adherence to all Health and Safety and Food Safety Regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and cook food on-site for patients, visitors, and staff.
2. Follow all relevant Policies, Procedures, and Food Fluid and Nutrition Standards, monitored by Team Leaders.
3. Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous professional cookery experience in a similar setting.
* Up-to-date Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate.
Working Hours and Flexibility
Working hours are 5 days over 7, between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, on a rota basis. NHS Golden Jubilee offers flexible working options for this role.
