MV Miss Glanvillia is seeking a responsible and reliable Cook (male or female) to join our vessel’s crew. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals for the crew and maintaining a clean and organized galley. This role requires someone mature, disciplined, and able to manage meal planning within a set budget. Salary to be discussed during the interview.
* One month paid vacation per year.
Responsibility
* Plan and prepare at least two balanced meals daily for the crew.
* Work within a set budget to manage provisions effectively.
* Maintain a clean, sanitary, and well-organized kitchen and galley at all times.
* Ensure food is prepared safely and in line with hygiene standards.
* Cooperate with other crew members to support smooth vessel operations.
Experience and Qualifications
* Must be a responsible, mature adult.
* Must have a valid food handlers permit.
* Previous cooking experience (professional or domestic).
* Ability to plan meals, manage supplies, and work within a budget.
* Strong sense of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization.
* Ability to work independently and adapt to life at sea.
