*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and repairing metal components using various fabrication techniques. *Duties*
* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine fabrication requirements.
* Perform TIG welding and other welding processes, including welding, to join metal components accurately.
* Use hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal working equipment to cut, shape, and assemble materials.
* Fabricate components from sheet metal, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards.
* Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into finished products or structures.
* Conduct inspections of welds and fabricated parts for quality assurance.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimise workflow.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in fabrication, welding (including TIG welding), and working with sheet metal.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
* Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of assembly processes.
* Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
* Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
* Relevant certifications or training in TIG welding or general welding practices are desirable but not essential.
