Full job description
Reporting to the Kitchen Manager/General Manager, you will work as part of the catering team to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen and service periods. You will have an adaptive and flexible approach to working in a fast paced kitchen environment.
Hours: 7 days per week, Monday to Thursday split shifts, Friday to Sunday straight shifts
JOB DESCRIPTION
* Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
* Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware.
* Dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
* Follow all health and safety regulations.
* Ensure the smooth and efficient running of your section.
* Ensure a high standard of cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen and service areas.
* Work functions and occasional one-offs during school holidays/evenings.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
* Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Desirable
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Basic knowledge of kitchen operations
* COSHH training
* Food Hygiene certificate
