Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactiveFinance Assistantto support the day-to-day financial operations of the business. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth running of their finance function, supporting accurate financial reporting, and maintaining effective financial controls.Key Responsibilities of Finance AssistantAssist in processing and reconciling supplier invoices and paymentsManage customer invoicing, credit control, and resolving invoice queriesSupport month-end procedures including journals, accruals, and reconciliationsMaintain and reconcile general ledger accountsAssist in producing financial reports and supporting analysisMonitor and report on cash flow and bank transactionsEnsure compliance with internal financial controls and company policiesLiaise with internal departments and external partners (e.g., suppliers, auditors)Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc tasks and projectsSkills & QualificationsPrevious experience in a finance/accounts assistant or similar roleAAT qualification (or working towards) desirableProficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Sage, or similar)Strong numerical and analytical skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailExcellent organisational and time management abilitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to be part of a sustainable and purpose-driven businessProfessional development and training opportunities including study supportSupportive and inclusive team environmentTPBN1_UKTJ
