Sales Supervisor About Us: Our business, Midsomer Norton Post Office & Premier Store, is a busy Main Post Office and convenience store on the High Street, providing essential postal, banking, parcel, Lottery, PayPoint and retail services to the local community. Since taking over in August 2022, customer demand has grown significantly following our store refit and expansion. To maintain smooth operations across both the Post Office and the Premier store, we require a skilled Sales Supervisor to support staff, manage stock, handle restricted products correctly, and ensure consistent customer service throughout the business. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Sales Supervisor will support the daily running of both the Post Office counters and the Premier convenience store, ensuring smooth operations and a high standard of customer service at all times. The role involves supervising staff, assisting with customer enquiries, and making sure all transactions, cash handling, and till operations are completed accurately and responsibly. The Supervisor will help maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised store and Post Office area, including overseeing basic housekeeping and stock presentation. They will support stock control by ensuring products are replenished, displayed correctly, and protected. The role also includes following Post Office procedures, maintaining confidentiality in all operational matters, completing required reports, and helping to keep the business running efficiently. Additional duties may be assigned to meet the needs of the store and ensure consistent service for customers. SALARY RANGE: £33500 to £41800 depending upon experience LOCATION: 122B High Street Midsomer Norton Radstock BA3 2HU JOB TYPE: Full-time, permanent. 37.5 hours per week.
