Overview
Senior Practitioner Psychologist – Community Rehabilitation Team role at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Permanent | Part time | 24 hours per week. Location: Chanctonbury Building, Swandean Hospital (moving to Worthing Integrated Care Centre). NHS AfC: Band 8a | £55,690 – £62,682 per annum (pro rata).
Responsibilities
* Work with adults with complex and enduring mental health needs, including psychosis, substance misuse, forensic issues and social challenges such as housing.
* Be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team (social workers, nurses, OTs, psychiatrists, support workers and a pharmacy technician).
* Contribute to a creative and flexible approach to risk management, run groups, and deliver person-centred rehabilitation through a biopsychosocial model.
* Engage in supervision, consultation, training and service development as part of the role.
* Apply psychology within a multidisciplinary setting and across diverse cultural contexts.
Qualifications
* Post-graduate doctoral training in applied psychology (HCPC approved).
* HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
* Experience in highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy across different settings.
* Experience working with adults with complex presentations, including psychosis.
* Experience in supervision, consultation, training and service development.
* Ability to apply psychology in a multidisciplinary team and diverse cultural contexts.
