Buckinghamshire College Group is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Head of IT to lead and develop our IT services across all campuses. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for ensuring the delivery of a reliable, secure and high-performing IT infrastructure that supports both staff and students. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering the College's IT strategy, driving innovation and ensuring systems and services meet the evolving needs of the organisation. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage IT services across the College, including networks, telecommunications, and technical support Ensure the security and integrity of all IT data, including robust disaster recovery planning Manage and develop the Tech Support team Deliver an excellent IT service to staff and students, with a strong customer-focused approach Lead IT projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget Work collaboratively with stakeholders to maximise the effectiveness of IT systems Ensure compliance with software licensing and data protection legislation Support College-wide initiatives, including merger planning and systems integration What We're Looking For: Proven experience managing IT services within a complex organisation Strong knowledge of networks, systems infrastructure, and IT operations Experience leading and developing teams in a busy, customer-focused environment A track record of managing budgets and delivering IT projects Strong understanding of data protection and information security Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A commitment to delivering outstanding service and continuous improvement A relevant professional qualification (minimum Level 3) is essential, and a management or project management qualification would be advantageous.
