Their Leicester division is expanding, and looking for a talented Engineer to join the team and help shape the future of residential construction in the region.
Role
As an Engineer with our client, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality housing projects from conception through to completion. You’ll work closely with our design, construction, and commercial teams to ensure developments are technically sound, cost-effective, and compliant with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
* Provide engineering support across multiple housing developments.
* Prepare, review, and manage technical drawings, site layouts, and infrastructure designs.
* Liaise with local authorities, utility providers, and consultants to secure approvals.
* Oversee site investigations, drainage, highways, and structural requirements.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Support project teams with problem-solving and technical expertise.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
* Experienced in residential or commercial construction projects.
* Skilled in CAD and other engineering software.
* Knowledgeable about UK building regulations, highways, and drainage design.
* A strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills.
* Motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
