An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent part time Band 5 staff nurse within the acute ward of Campbeltown Community Hospital. The ward has 15 beds and cares for acute admissions with medical input provided by GPs. The Band 5 staff nurse role involves the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure high quality, evidence based, person centred care.
You must have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and the ability to stay well-organised while prioritising tasks efficiently. This is an opportunity to become part of a team which is responsive to the needs of the population and dedicated to providing the best possible care to the people of Kintyre.
There will be opportunities to develop your skills and experience in other areas such as unscheduled care, advanced assessment and palliative care.

Additional Information For Candidates
Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
