Receptionist
We are looking to employ a part time receptionist to join our friendly team.
This role requires experience with client care or a similar customer facing role. This is a part-time post that would suit someone who puts the client at the heart of their role, not necessarily currently in the veterinary world but definitely in a busy, service focused environment. Full training on our systems will be given to the successful candidate who will be expected to use their own initiative, have a full driving licence and be available to work across all of our branches in South Oxfordshire. This role is part time (27hpw) the hours are Monday – Friday with 1 in 4 shifts on the weekend rota (a Saturday or Sunday).
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide a friendly, efficient and caring service to clients and their animals.
* To answer the telephone and take accurate messages.
* To deal with clients at reception or on the telephone.
* Be able to enter computer data accurately and appropriately.
* To handle payments and cash up in line with practice protocol.
* To assist with the cleaning and tidying of the waiting room, reception area, consulting rooms and pharmacy.
* To liaise with reception, nursing and veterinary staff.
* To stock shelves with food and pet products.
* To participate in training and development activities as required.
* To attend team and practice meetings as required.
* To follow correct policies, protocols and procedures.
* To be efficient, courteous and polite.
* To be concerned and helpful to colleagues, clients and their animals, under all conditions.
* To be keen, enthusiastic and willing to learn and an honest and reliable team member.
* To uphold the Larkmead Values.
