Your new role
As a valued member of our construction team, working as a Document Controller, your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all aspects of the document control process, such as technical documentation, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
2. Entering document data into standardised registers, ensuring all information remains accurate and up to date.
3. Distributing copies of the latest approved documents and drawings to relevant staff, subcontractors, and suppliers as needed.
4. Managing the issuance and receipt of controlled documentation, logging issues and recipients for projects, clients, and suppliers.
5. Promoting the corporate content management system to maintain business system continuity.
6. Keeping precise records through accurate registers and action lists.
7. Acting as the central point of contact for all document management matters within the team.
8. Assisting in the coordination of document management practices across the project, including policies, protocols, and best practices.
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous Document Control experience
* Knowledge of construction practices and standards
* Knowledge of the use of spreadsheets, databases and job-specific software such as 4Project
* Experience setting up and using electronic document management systems
* Ability to keep clear and accurate records and reports
What you'll get in return
This is a long-term temporary role to start at the end of May / beginning of June. This role is expected to last 63 weeks. Monday to Friday, hours per week, site-based role.
