We're recruiting for a Ward Clerk to provide administrative support for our multi-disciplinary team on Glyme Ward at Littlemore Mental Health Centre in Oxford. This is a full-time role, but a minimum of 30 hours per week can be considered.
About Glyme Ward
Glyme is a 17-bedded medium secure rehab ward within our forensic service. Our service users are men with a diagnosis of mental illness and/or personality disorder. Many have had experience of the criminal justice system.
Key Responsibilities
1. Managing correspondence and maintaining records.
2. Coordinating meetings and managing the ward diary.
3. First point of contact for internal and external queries.
4. Handling patient information confidentially and ensuring documentation is up to date.
5. Ordering supplies, arranging transport, and supporting staffing coordination.
6. Liaising with clinical teams, healthcare professionals, social services, and external agencies.
7. Supporting clinical meetings, producing minutes, and co-ordinating CPA.
8. Answering calls, recording messages, and arranging appointments.
9. Organising bank staff and liaising with other departments and agencies.
