Job Title: Assessor of Fabrication and Welding Salary: Market leading competitive basic salary and exceptional benefits Location: Middlesbrough Summary: The Assessor in Fabrication and welding supports apprentices to achieve plumbing qualifications, including full Apprenticeship Standards. The role involves managing a caseload of learners, conducting workplace assessments of knowledge, skills, and behaviors, and guiding learners through to successful completion and End Point Assessment. Inductions and initial assessments are carried out to identify starting points, with individual learning plans developed in collaboration with employers, ensuring clear targets and an understanding of off‑the‑job training requirements. Working closely with learners, employers, and internal colleagues, the Assessor monitors progress through regular workplace reviews, provides feedback, and helps learners overcome barriers to achievement. The role also contributes to program performance, quality improvement, and recruitment activity, supporting targets for retention, achievement, and learner numbers.
