Experience working in a childcare setting is required for this role. A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential. Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role. Pay: £12.21 - £13.25 per hour *plus accrued holiday pay Working Hours: Zero hour contract - This gives you flexibility to work different shifts each week depending on the Nursery needs, between 8am-6pm - Monday to Friday. Iver is a lovely two-storey nursery is set within a converted church building, with a well-resourced outdoor area, encouraging an active lifestyle and outdoor play. At The Old Station Nursery Iver, we offer excellent nursery care with the addition of three distinct learning enhancements for our children; these are child-friendly cooking classes and language lessons, both delivered in a Montessori inspired way that fosters strong connections between children and the world around them. The nursery is easily accessible with plenty of parking available off street. What Your Role Involves As a valued member of our team, you’ll: Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive. Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework. Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents. Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
