Or already a Project Engineer looking for more varied, large-scale industrial projects? We're working with a growing engineering business delivering complex automation, manufacturing and industrial installation projects across the UK — and they're looking to add a Project Engineer to their team. You'll work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Site Teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification. Based in the West Midlands with regular UK travel. What You'll Be Doing • Supporting delivery of electrical and industrial engineering projects • Assisting with planning, coordination and scheduling • Working with design, installation and commissioning teams • Supporting procurement of materials and equipment • Attending site during installation, testing and commissioning • Ensuring compliance with RAMS and site safety procedures • Monitoring progress, reporting updates and resolving issues • Providing technical support to engineers and site teams What We're Looking For Essential: • Electrical or engineering background (industrial / manufacturing / automation) • Experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance or project environments • Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics • Strong organisation and communication skills • Full UK Driving Licence • Willingness to travel Desirable (NOT essential): • Previous Project Engineer experience • Background in automation, conveyors, FMCG or material handling • HNC / HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering • Experience working on industrial sites Suitable Backgrounds Project Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Controls Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Electrical Site Engineer, Installation Engineer, Automation Engineer Keywords Project Engineer jobs West Midlands, Electrical Project Engineer jobs UK, Controls Engineer jobs, Automation Engineer jobs, Industrial Project Engineer, Commissioning Engineer jobs, Electrical Engineer jobs manufacturing Apply now for immediate interview or contact Darryl directly for a confidential discussion:
