Job Title: Sales & Financial Administrator

Job Overview

We are seeking a positive, organised and proactive individual to support our sales and administrative operations. This varied role involves managing sales administration processes, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payroll activities, coordinating logistics documentation, and delivering excellent customer service. An interest in or experience within the agricultural sector would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Administration

* Preparing and issuing customer quotations
* Processing sales orders and generating invoices
* Sending customer statements and actively chasing outstanding payments
* Liaising with customers and sales representatives across the UK

Accounts & Finance Support

* Assisting with staff wages and payroll administration
* Reconciling customer and supplier accounts
* Supporting general accounts administration
* Using Sage 200 for order processing, invoicing and account management

Logistics & Documentation

* Processing customs documentation
* Creating transport orders
* Preparing delivery notes and CMR documentation
* Coordinating shipments and ensuring accurate and compliant paperwork

Workshop & Service Administration

* Creating workshop job cards
* Raising and managing service job documentation

Customer Engagement

* Communicating professionally with customers via phone and email
* Assisting at 2–3 exhibitions per year, serving and speaking with customers
* Answering phone calls and directing to correct department

Skills & Experience

* Positive attitude with a strong team-focused approach
* Previous experience in sales administration and accounts support
* Working knowledge of Sage 200 (essential or highly desirable)
* Strong Excel proficiency, including spreadsheets, data management and reporting
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Confident communicator with strong customer service skills
* Interest in or experience within the agricultural industry would be advantageous
* Polite and friendly phone manner

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
