We are looking for a proactive and dependable Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same, offering the opportunity to make a real impact on our production operations.

The Role
As our Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring production equipment and site facilities remain safe, efficient, and fully operational.
Your duties will include:
* Responding to machinery breakdowns and carrying out repairs.
* Supporting our Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme.
* Fault-finding and resolving mechanical issues on production equipment.
* Performing routine maintenance tasks including lubrication and servicing.
* Conducting weekly forklift truck (FLT) maintenance checks.
* Carrying out fire alarm and emergency lighting testing.
* Undertaking minor repairs to portable tools.
* Ordering maintenance consumables and spare parts.
* Working closely with production and management teams to minimise downtime.
* Supporting site Health & Safety standards and compliance activities.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a maintenance engineering role.
* Strong mechanical maintenance skills.
* Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
* Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A reliable, positive, and proactive approach.
Desirable Skills
* Engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent).
* FLT licence.
* Health & Safety training.
* Experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
