JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Head of Education for UK and ROI, the Regional Educator provides inspirational education and training to top salon and premium retail channels, championing brand advocacy, mentoring, supporting, and developing the Regional Freelance Education Team as well as Premium Retail Brand Ambassadors.
The role supports education across all omni channels within the UK, contributing to salon sales plans by delivering professional, inspiring education that leaves a lasting impression and promotes a positive, can-do mindset.
The UK and Ireland are vital markets for ghd, and the education manager plays a key role in inspiring teams to achieve excellence and serve as a flagship market example.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Foster a culture of creativity and excellence.
* Role model and champion the 5Cs framework: Collaborative, Creative, Courageous, Connected, Committed.
* Deliver trend-led education sessions to salons, national accounts, and high-tier ghd stockists.
* Support sales teams in acquiring new ghd stockists.
* Communicate effectively about ghd brand and support sell-through initiatives.
* Represent the education department at sales and trade meetings.
* Organize and deploy education within major salon groups.
* Support the launch of new products in salons and retail channels.
* Mentor regional freelance educators, providing training and support.
* Maintain communication with Premium Retail Brand Ambassadors.
* Report on regional education activities.
* Participate in confidential NPD testing and activation.
* Develop a social media presence to promote brand advocacy.
* Present at events, seminars, and meetings.
* Attend monthly education meetings and report weekly to the Head of Education.
REQUIREMENTS
* Senior hair stylist qualification and experience.
* Strong social media understanding.
* Outgoing, energetic, and fun personality.
* Experience in education, coaching, and mentoring.
* Presentation skills across diverse audiences.
* Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Fashion-conscious with industry knowledge.
