Job Overview
We are seeking an HR Advisor to join our Employee Relations (ER) team for a fixed‑term contract of 12 months. The role involves complex case management, developing procedures and guidance, supporting Trade Union activities and terms and conditions writing, and delivering solutions that enhance employee engagement and communication.
Responsibilities
* Provide advice and support on employment legislation and policy across the business.
* Coaching and advising managers and employees on innovative employee relations solutions, including engagement activities and contract‑related matters.
* Build, engage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Trade Union representatives and company ambassadors.
* Lead and facilitate mediation and dispute resolution processes.
* Develop and implement resources that empower employees and managers, fostering a positive ER climate.
* Collaborate within a multi‑functional team to provide logical solutions to complex issues.
Qualifications
* Strong experience in complex case management and employment law.
* Background in procedure and guidance development, including terms and conditions writing.
* Experience working with Trade Unions or in a unionised environment is an advantage.
* Excellent communication, influencing and relationship‑building skills at all levels.
* Coaching, facilitation and mediation experience.
* Commercial awareness and a solution‑focused attitude.
Key Benefits
* Fixed‑term contract (12 months) with salary circa £50,000, subject to experience.
