A forward-thinking secondary school in Telford is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to join its Creative Arts Department. This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about developing students’ musical ability and confidence.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Deliver engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 available depending on experience).
* Teach performance, composition, and music theory in line with the national curriculum and exam specifications.
* Prepare students for GCSE and/or A-Level Music where applicable.
* Lead or support extracurricular ensembles such as choir, band, or instrumental groups.
* Organise and contribute to school concerts and performances.
* Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach both practical and theoretical elements of Music.
* Ability to play at least one instrument to a high standard (multiple instruments advantageous).
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
