Welsh Medium Primary School Teacher Location: Ebbw Vale Pay: From £166.33 per day (dependent on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (part-time, full-time, and ad-hoc roles available) Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and fluent Welsh-speaking Primary School Teacher to work across the Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2 in schools within the Ebbw Vale area. We are looking for a passionate educator who can deliver the Welsh curriculum through the medium of Welsh, while supporting learners of all abilities, including those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and Special Educational Needs (SEN). Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons through the medium of Welsh. Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of children with SEN/ALN. Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external agencies. Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies. Promote Welsh language and culture throughout daily teaching and activities. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a Welsh-medium primary setting. A deep understanding of the Welsh curriculum across Foundation Phase and/or Key Stage 2. Experience or training in supporting pupils with SEN/ALN. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. A nurturing, flexible, and creative approach to teaching. A passion for promoting bilingual education and Welsh culture. Fluent in Welsh (spoken and written). Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate or willingness to obtain one. Right to work in the UK. At least 3 months of teaching experience (placements included).
