Salary: Grade 3, SCP 3-5 (£14,634 - £15,098 actual salary)
Hours: 25.5 hours per week, term time plus one week

Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential? Hawkley Hall High School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and forward-thinking team.
As a teaching assistant, you will work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff to support students with SEND, both in and out of the classroom. You will play a key role in enabling access to learning, promoting independence and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing tailored support to students with SEND
* Assisting teachers in managing classroom behaviour and learning activities
* Promote inclusion and engagement in lessons and enrichment
* Deliver feedback to students, teachers and parents/carers
* Support school activities, trips and supervision duties
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
* Experience working with children of relevant age or learning needs
* Basic literacy and numeracy (GCSE Grade C/4 or above)
* Ability to relate well to pupils and adults
* Basic ICT skills and understanding of learning resources
Desirable:
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification
* Willingness to undertake further training and first aid
* Understanding of child development and learning processes
* Knowledge of relevant policies and health and safety
