Job Description
This part-time home care position is focused on providing care, home help and companionship to older adults in their homes in the morning, a crucial time for many older people trying to get up and ready for the day.
Key Responsibilities of the Home Carer:
1. Assist with morning routines preparing a breakfast, offering companionship and emotional support.
2. Provide personal care assistance, helping clients get up and out of bed with dignity and respect.
3. Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and comfortable home environment
4. Offer medication reminders and assist with mobility to ensure client safety.
Qualifications
While experience as a carer is good to have it is not essential and we welcome people with their own personal experiences.
Essential Qualities
5. A caring, friendly disposition to create lasting relationships.
6. Have an excellent command of written and spoken English.
7. Superior organisational and time management skills are really important as our clients rely on us to be on time!
