About the Company
Star Platforms is a leading provider of powered access equipment, ranging from scissor lifts and boom lifts to low-level access and IPAF training. Star Power provides critical temporary power solutions, including generator hire, battery storage, and fuel services. We operate from nine locations across the country, with our headquarters located in Houghton Regis.
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Digital Marketing Executive to lead digital marketing efforts across two B2B brands: Star Platforms and Star Power. This new role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident managing their own time, and has hands-on experience across SEO, Google Ads, social media, email marketing, and website content management.
Key Responsibilities:
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO):
· Conduct keyword research and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
· Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools
· Optimise website content and structure to improve organic search rankings.
· Create and publish blog posts to support SEO and content marketing strategies
Google Ads (PPC):
· Plan, create, and manage Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, and Remarketing).
· Monitor ad performance, optimise for conversions, and manage budgets effectively.
· A/B test ad creatives and landing pages to improve ROI.
Social Media Management:
· Develop and schedule engaging content across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
· Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and grow community presence.
· Analyse performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
· Manage paid social media campaigns to drive engagement and conversions.
Email Marketing:
· Plan and execute email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp.
· Create engaging newsletters, promotional emails, and automated workflows.
· Segment audiences and personalise content to improve open and click-through rates.
· Monitor campaign performance and optimise based on analytics.
Website Content Management:
· Maintain and update website content for both brands using WordPress.
· Ensure content is SEO-friendly, visually appealing, and aligned with brand guidelines.
· Collaborate with our external web agency for larger updates or technical issues.
Requirements:
· Proven experience in digital marketing, particularly in SEO, Google Ads, social media, and email marketing.
· Proficiency in Mailchimp, including automation and audience segmentation.
· Experience managing WordPress websites and basic HTML knowledge.
· Strong analytical skills and experience with tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Looker Studio
· Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) for creating and editing marketing assets.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Self-motivated with excellent time management and organisational skills.
