ASA Recruitment’s client, a Public Sector organisation in Edinburgh are currently looking to recruit a Strategic HR Advisor, for initial 6 month contracts (with potential extensions) on a rate of c.£650-£750/day inside of IR35 (based on experience).
Responsibilities:
1. To provide senior-level strategic HR advisory and programme leadership to design and deliver a coordinated people transformation and change agenda.
2. Act as programme lead across key strategic People & Culture projects.
3. Support leaders through complex change, ensuring clarity, engagement, and minimal disruption
4. Develop and embed change frameworks, tools, and governance
5. Establish delivery plans, milestones, and dependencies, and risk and issues management frameworks
6. Provide clear, concise reporting to Executive and Board level
7. Ensure integration across HR and wider business initiatives
Essential Skills & Experience:
8. Proven experience in strategic HR Change & Transformation within complex organisations
9. Demonstrable track record and expertise in organisational design and change management
10. Ability to assess current ways of working and identify opportunities to improve operating model effectiveness, structure and organisational performance
11. Demonstrable programme management capability (multi-workstream delivery)
12. Ability to operate effectively at Executive / Board level and produce high quality outputs for senior audiences
13. Experience in public sector or regulated environments, with an understanding of the Equality Act 2010 and Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED)
