To undertake this role, you must, A Senior Health Care Support Worker (SHCSW) is a core member of the team delivering direct care to patients and supporting registered practitioners to deliver high quality, compassionate health care to people in accordance with assessed needs and a care plan. You will carry out a range of clinical and non-clinical healthcare, or therapeutic tasks, under the direct or indirect supervision of the registered healthcare practitioner, in accordance with the Trust values. There will be opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills, specific to your needs. Training will be provided to ensure you have the required core skills and skills set specific to your area of work.

Qualifications
* Have experience of working in an acute hospital setting within the last 12 months OR are a Student Nurse in your second year, having completed a placement in an acute hospital setting (please ensure this is documented in your application).
* Hold an NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience
* GCSE A- C (grade 4 and above) in English & Math's or equivalent
* Be able to work a minimum of 2 shifts, in a rolling 4 month period and remain compliant with all essential training, to remain in post
