In this role, the Scientist - Investigations provides technical expertise and support for timely assessment and implementation of post-launch changes and product concerns arising from customer complaints and internal product surveillance.
Responsibilities
 * Provide technical knowledge for supporting on-market products and post-release changes for on-market In-Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) products
 * Support in solving complex problems related to product concerns; develop, plan, and execute experiments to determine root cause and timely implementation of corrective actions
 * Contribute to defined project/work packages in functional areas to continually improve products, processes and services
 * Share knowledge, experience and lessons learnt with associates cross-functionally
 * Adopt a scientific and data-driven approach to continually improve market-leading Advanced Immunohistochemical Assays and develop within a global organization
Essential Requirements
 * Previous experience of working with, or developing IVD, ideally in relation to FISH and ISH Advanced Immunohistochemical Assays
 * Knowledge of the Molecular Chemistries involved in Advanced Immunohistochemical Assays
 * Experience of microscopic slide examination and interpretation of antibody/probe staining
 * Proven experience in writing scientific documents, plans and reports
 * Experience working within a highly regulated environment, ideally with knowledge of Change Controls, Deviations and CAPAs
