Job Overview:

Role: Legal Secretary (Employment team)

Hours: Full Time - 35 hours/week with 1 hour for lunch (considering 4 days/week)

Term: Permanent

Team and Location:

You will support Employment Partner Tim Lang and collaborate with Legal Secretaries Claire Brookman, Alena Dudrah, and Lian Styring. The role is based in Kidderminster, with the wider team working from Birmingham, Worcester, and Telford offices.


Development and Involvement:

You will have opportunities to develop your experience and expertise, with support to engage with clients and the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

* Perform secretarial duties such as typing, photocopying, and correspondence.
* Assist with file management, including openings, closures, and reviews.
* Manage appointments and diaries.
* Maintain proper storage and retrieval of client documents.
* Attend to clients on behalf of fee earners when appropriate.


Requirements:

* Experience in a secretarial role within a professional services environment.
* Knowledge of employment law is beneficial.
* Dictation and audio typing skills.
* Organizational and filing skills.
