A supportive and inclusive primary school in N9 is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term agency basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to help pupils with additional needs reach their full potential in a nurturing environment.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
1. Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with special educational needs
2. Assist teachers in delivering differentiated learning activities
3. Support children with social, emotional, and behavioural development
4. Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
5. Help monitor and report pupil progress to teaching staff
The Ideal Candidate
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will:
6. Have experience supporting children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, or speech and language needs
7. Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable
8. Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills
9. Be proactive and committed to student development
10. Have a genuine passion for making a difference as a SEN Teaching Assistant
This role is ideal for experienced practitioners or a motivated SEN Teaching Assistant looking to develop their skills further in a collaborative school setting.
