Compensation and Benefits:
* Competitive Salary: Starting at GBP30,000 per annum, with regular salary progression based on training completion.

Working Hours:
* Full:time: 36.75 hours per week (Mon, Wed, Thurs 08:45am x2013; 04:45pm, Tues 08:45am x2013; 05:30pm, Fri 08:45am x2013; 04:30pm).
* Part:time options available (must include Tuesday).
* Generous Holiday: 56 days school holiday plus Bank Holidays (effective from 01/09/2024).
Your Role:
* Teaching and Curriculum Delivery: Follow individualised curricula, planning and delivering lessons focusing on communication and life skills.
* Behavioural Support: Apply theory:based interventions to enhance the quality of life for our pupils.
* Progress Monitoring: Ensure teaching methods are effective and appropriate for each childs needs.
* Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with support staff to implement tailored learning strategies.
* Additional Duties: Assist with break time supervision and support activities like playground and snack time.

Training and Qualifications:
* Education and Childcare Courses: RQF CACHE Level 2, 3 and 4 in Early Years, Learning Difficulties, and Teaching and Learning.
* Behaviour Analysis Qualifications: Teaching Ranks, Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT), Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), UK Society for Behaviour Analysis (UKBA(cert)).
* Advanced Degrees: Pursue a Masters in High Incidence and Disabilities worth up to GBP13,000.
* Regular Training: Ongoing training in Safeguarding, Emergency Medication, Behaviour Management, Personal Care, Autism, and more.
What Were Looking For:
* Experience: Professional, personal, or voluntary experience working with children and disabilities.
* Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a minimum Grade C/4 GCSE in English Language and Maths or equivalent.
* Skills: Comfortable working with children who exhibit challenging behaviour and providing personal/intimate care when needed.
* Composure: Ability to remain calm in high:pressure situations.
