Vision For Education are currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a supportive specialist provision in Haslingden. This is a full-time, term-time position starting in September 2025. About the role Are you a Teaching Assistant or cover supervisor looking for a step up to Higher Level Teaching Assistant? We are working in partnership with a specialist setting based in Haslingden who are seeking to appoint a HLTA to join them in September. As a HLTA, you will be working closely with individual students ensuring they get the very best from their education. The purpose of the Higher Level Teaching Assistant is to support other teaching staff within the school with all elements of the day to day running of the school, teaching from pre-set work across small groups and individual sessions, across a range of subject areas. Experience is desirable but not essential, as we can offer a free bespoke training programme, to assist you with the delivery of work to a full class, classroom and behaviour management and establishing effective classroom routines.
