Employment Lawyer - Remote
Salary: Up to £70,000 (DOE) | Flexible / Part-Time Considered
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join a forward-thinking and highly regarded legal services provider.
This role is ideal for an employment solicitor seeking a fully remote position with a strong emphasis on advisory work, supporting a broad client base across a wide range of employment law matters.
The Role
You will provide high-quality, commercially focused employment law advice, primarily supporting employers (respondent work) while also drawing on some claimant-side experience.
The position offers a varied workload combining day-to-day advisory support with ongoing client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing pragmatic, commercially focused employment law advice via phone, email, and virtual meetings
* Supporting clients across a wide range of employment matters and HR-related issues
* Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, handbooks, and settlement agreements
* Advising on disciplinary, grievance, and dismissal processes
* Handling Employment Tribunal matters from initial advice through to resolution
* Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted legal advisor
* Contributing to articles, briefings, and client-facing training where appropriate
About You
* Qualified Solicitor with solid experience in employment law (typically 6+ PQE)
* Strong background in respondent/employer work
* Some exposure to claimant matters is beneficial
* Experience of Employment Tribunal work
* Excellent drafting, communication, and client-facing skills
* Able to provide clear, commercial, and solutions-focused advice
* Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
