Senior Practitioner – Stoke-on-Trent Children’s Services Rate: up to £33.30 per hour We are recruiting for motivated qualified social worker to join our busy team. This role is with one of the UK’s highest performing local authorities, serving as one of the best places to live and work in. This is a qualified role requiring you to be SWE registered and have relevant experience within children’s services. Office based with at least 3 days per week with a duty manager available to respond to crisis daily (in the event a social worker couldn’t get hold of their own manager). Required: ASYE at least 3 years experience plus additional supervisory/practice development role/contributing to learning of others 1 x Qualified Social Worker experienced in undertaking initial risk assessment, planned interventions, and updated risk assessments of those perpetrator DV. Serving as the persons primary point of contact, and to be pro-active in developing and implementing safety plans. 1 x Qualified Social Worker/Probation officer experienced in undertaking protective parenting assessments where there is High Risk. Staff to be predominately office based with the option to work at home 2 days a week.
