About the Role

SPT is now seeking to recruit a Technical Craftsperson - Line. You will carry out diagnostics repairs, and planned maintenance across a range of electrical equipment including power and automated signalling / control systems to support the on-going delivery of the Subway maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity to play an important role in the efficient running of the Subway whilst developing and broadening your own technical skills and experience in line with our ongoing modernisation activity and introduction of new assets.

About You

You will have experience as a time served technician in either a recognised electrical or multiskilled engineering discipline supported by first-hand experience, preferably in an automated maintenance environment, where fault finding is critical. Safety is our priority and so experience of working in a safety critical environment is essential. Further details of the role are included in the job description.

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, working 38 hours per week on average on a 5-week rotating shift pattern that includes some weekend working. You will be based at our Broomloan Depot in Govan, Glasgow.

As part of the recruitment process you will undertake aptitude testing.
