A global technology business launching its UK operation is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across London and Hertfordshire.
This is a unique opportunity to join a company at the start of its UK expansion, playing a key role in building partnerships with major retail and commercial businesses.
The Role You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building relationships with retail groups where automated technology solutions will be installed. The role combines new business development, account management and client engagement, working closely with both customers and internal engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities Identify and secure new business opportunities across retail and commercial sectors
Build relationships with decision-makers and site managers
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract agreement
Conduct client meetings and site visits across London and Hertfordshire
Work closely with operations and engineering teams during rollout
Ideal Background We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience selling into:
Retail groups
Vending or automated equipment
Retail technology / EPOS systems
Facilities or operational services
What We're Looking For Proven Business Development or Sales Manager experience
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
Comfortable managing both new business and existing client relationships
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a hybrid role
Full UK driving licence
Package £45,000 £60,000 basic salary
Uncapped OTE
Company car
