Join our Vehicle Dynamics team as a Junior Simulation & Modelling Engineer, where you’ll help shape the tools and models that drive decision‑making both at the factory and trackside.
In this role, you’ll contribute to the development, operation, and analysis of high‑fidelity simulations that support car performance, setup optimisation, and race preparation.
We are looking for someone who can:
1. Develop, run, and analyse simulation models to support vehicle performance, setup evaluation, and race preparation.
2. Prepare, maintain, and improve data inputs and modelling tools (e.g., tyre models, aero maps, track data) to ensure accurate simulation results.
3. Support driver‑in‑the‑loop sessions, ensuring models and configurations are correctly set up and troubleshooting any issues.
4. Assist with model correlation by comparing simulation results to track data and helping refine predictive accuracy.
5. Contribute to software/tool development and documentation, presenting insights to performance, aero, and vehicle dynamics teams.
The successful candidate will have:
6. A solid foundation in vehicle dynamics, mathematical modelling, and numerical methods, ideally supported by a degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
7. Experience with programming and data analysis tools commonly used in simulation environments (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C++, or similar).
8. Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex technical data accurately.
9. A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn, collaborate across performance and engineering teams, and continuously improve modelling approaches.
